Hello!
Well, it’s February again. A month for either thanking your lucky stars for your special someone or wondering which unlucky star you were born under to find yourself ordering take out, coffee table for one.
I’m the author of a new novel, UNPREDICTABLE (called fresh, fun, quirky, and hilarious!), a book I know your readers will be interested in—I’d be happy to send you a review copy if you like. And if you ever accept guest bloggers or conduct Q & As with authors, I’d love to offer some of my insight on love, life, and why you should never leave your love life in the hands of a ‘psychic.’
Have you ever wondered why if you visit a psychic for answers about your love life they always predict an attractive stranger in your future and never that they see you sitting home alone watching re-runs of the Amazing Race? My novel, UNPREDICATBLE, just might have the answers.
It tells the story of Sophie, a girl who will do *anything* to have another chance with her ex-boyfriend. When she hears his new girlfriend loves the supernatural, she learns to fake psychic skills in order to give them a reading she knows will break them up. Romantic Times said in a review, “it’s destined to climb to the top of the best seller lists!”

* I would love to hear more about your book- I love a good Pinot and some mythology.
Your writing in this blog drew me to your website, which is amazing! Your writings are incredibly beautiful, deep and moving. I found it fascinating in many ways ~ the beauty of the Pacific northwest, especially the coast. My brother recently left his lifelong love of San Francisco and moved to Ashland, OR, where he and his wife have become very involved with the Shakespeare Theatre.
I loved the GALlivanting Gourmets blog, as I am a PR professional in restaurants and hospitality and recently started my own blog, initially about food mostly, but hope to expand to other travels and cultural happenings. Check it out at http://www.itinerantmuse.typepad.com.
And I will be forwarding GALlivanting Gourmets, as well as your website, to my daughter, who has started writing travel articles for an educational pub. She will love your idea of Bubbles!
Good luck in your literary endeavors! With your talent, you should have a literary agent in no time.
All the best,
Margaret
Margaret,
Thanks for reaching out and taking the time to read my work and comment. I look forward to getting acquainted with your blog.
I’ve had to put the GALlivanting blog on hold. It’s supposed to be co-written by my friends – one does PR/Communications/Events for food, wine and hospitality, one is a freelance food and wine writer, and the last one sells specialty foods. But, I am consumed in the food and wine scene here in Portland, and about.
I’ll forward your blog to colleagues and friends, as well.
Thank you for your kind words and encouragement.
Warm regards,
Leah
Here I was looking for blogs about relationships and I fell upon your blog. Interesting take on the various manifestations of love – how’s LULU working for you. Freakin’ POD prices are stupid. Get your stuff on Amazon, but get your own ISBN first – if you use a LULU ISBN, the price for your book enters the silly zone.
Also, don’t read my blog as I am a harsh sonofabitch and you’re clearly an air spirit compared to my harsh exterior. (I write also: urban fantasy and really bad poetry.
Fashion-Conscious Video with Christmas Spirit
Hi!
I thought that you and the followers of your blog and twitter might find this video interesting!
http://bit.ly/7DxnHm
My actress in “Paper Birds” is wearing a vintage jacket from Paris, the skirt used to be a long vintage skirt from a flea market in Los Angeles but was cut to make it mini, the yellow tights were from a department store in Los Angeles, the shoes are from Paris.
The wardrobe was meant to reflect her whimsical and maybe even mythical personality and create a stark contrast with her environment.
The theme of the video is about the inspiration that can be found even in ordinary circumstances and that in giving back / sharing to the world – magic is created. A theme that is appropriate for the holiday season!
Thanks and Happy New Year,
David
